Spring Creek hits Alaska

Hello friends and fans,
We are super excited to be in Alaska for the 17th annual Cordova 4H Music Camp for Kids! After 21 hours of travelling we made it from sunny Crested Butte, CO to salty Cordova, AK… but without our bags! Turns out in a hazy airport checkin’ on one hour of sleep, we neglected to forward our bags all the way to Cordova… oops 
. So after hours of haggling with the one Alaska Airlines employee in Cordova we managed to track down our bags and have them sent on ERA and they arrived later that night. After brushing our teeth, we promptly went down to the dock where we met our buddy Mike Mickelson (former Bearfoot guitar slayer) who took us out for a boat ride around the bay. See a VIDEO of us on the boat! He was getting set for a 36 hour set-netting push to catch a boatload of the prized Copper River red salmon. If there’s one thing Cordova is known for (other than it’s superb young musicians) it’s world class SALMON. Needless to say, Spring Creek is going to be eating well on this trip
